Connecting Your Router Directly (Requirements)
JKT-IX Virtual Circuit is a service that provides a dedicated point-to-point L2 connection between any two points of JKT-IX member ports that is totally isolated from IX public network with VLAN. This service can be utilized to connect between you and other your partner. Note that both parties must be connected to JKT-IX.
Multi-lateral Peering (Route Server Peering)
To prevent impact from potential L2 loop and operator’s wrong congfiguration, we are stronglly suggesting members to connect IX network from your router straight. If you want to connect IX network from your switch, please first get confirmation from JKT-IX operators and make sure that you have configured your switch properly to prevent L2 loop and broadcast storm.
